Just Like Heaven, The Story of One Year

Very soon after Thanksgiving, Erica and Darren celebrated their six-monthaversary, or bi-anniversary, if you wanna be boring about it. It seemed as if the six months had gone by so quickly, yet at the same time Erica and Darren had become so close to each other that it seemed as though they'd been together for years. As a gift, Erica painted Darren a picture of the magical tree that they sat under the night of their first kiss. Darren treasures the painting, keeps it in his room, and shows it to all visitors. To celebrate six months, Darren taught Erica how to skateboard in a local park.
After making it through half of the school year together, Erica and Darren were ready for Winter Break. Although Darren left for a few days to visit family, it was not as bad as the week in summer. The remaining days of Winter Break were much like the days of summer, spending countless hours with each other and wanting more.
Upon return to school, Erica and Darren were again caught under piles of homework. Erica helped Darren by editing the big research paper, which he received a pretty decent grade on. About this time though, Erica and Darren were just counting the days until school was over so they could relax together again.
