The band that Darren had been a part of for a
while decided to perform a few songs one day.
Darren was very nervous, but Erica managed to
calm him a bit. At the performance, Erica cheered
loudly and really helped Darren to not explode.
She even made a TIS shirt, supporting them even
though the music would probably be considered
bad by most people.

Soon afterward, Erica and the girls' school
varsity volleyball team came storming through the
hallways while Darren was decorating the lockers.
Upon asking about the commotion, Darren learned
that the volleyball team would be going to the
State Finals. When they went, Darren attended,
and he watched them smash the opposition. Darren
was very proud of his volleyballing girlfriend.

For Thanksgiving, Erica was to go to Tucson to
visit her aunt and uncle. Erica invited Darren,
and although he was terrified to stay in her
extended family's house for a night, he agreed.
Erica wasn't feeling well, and her dad suggested
that Darren lay with her to keep her company.
