ex. He listened and tried to help her feel better
with his goofy conversation and senseless logic.
Surprisingly, she did feel a bit better.

Pi Day, and he invited Erica, who had been getting
to know him at the same time she had been getting
to know Darren, the brown-skinned boy's best friend.
Erica ate a chicken pot pie that Darren brought.

other friends, Darren went to Erica's house alone,
so that they could both play Mario Kart 64.
Darren had grown fond of Erica and he wore quite
a bit of cologne that night. They laid next to
each other, and ran Wario into the wall many times.
